Gabby Agbonlahor thinks Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes might be keen on securing a summer transfer to David Moyes’ West Ham United.

There is talk about Harvey Barnes’ future at the King Power Stadium, as they prepare for a monumental final game of the 2022/23 campaign on Sunday against West Ham United.

Even a win against the Hammers could see Leicester suffer relegation to the Championship, with Agbonlahor discussing the future of their star winger, as he told talkSPORT Breakfast.

If it’s relegation for the East Midlands side, then there is no chance a player of Barnes’ qualities stays on in the Championship.

A number of Premier League clubs are already interested, regardless of Leicester’s fate, including Aston Villa, Tottenham, Newcastle United and West Ham themselves.

Either way, for Agbonlahor, he thinks Barnes is a ‘top quality’ player, as he shared what could help the Hammers sign the 25-year-old.

“West Ham could be playing Europa League next season,” said Agbonlahor. “That could be a big-draw for Harvey Barnes to play in Europe.”

HOW MUCH IS HARVEY BARNES WORTH?

The transfer market has been inflated for some time now and it could even be argued that transfer fees for players are getting crazier.

And if you are English, then there is always that added tax, which might prove to be the case for Barnes.

£50 million has been touted for the all-action winger, but surely, in Leicester’s situation, especially if they go down, no one will want to pay that sort of money.
