Tottenham Hotspur are expected to make offers for Feyenoord duo Arne Slot and Orkun Kokcu this week.

Feyenoord could lose two key men with Tottenham moving for Arne Slot and Orkun Kokcu according to Volkskrant.

The Dutch newspaper report that Tottenham are ‘willing to pay a lot of money’ to land Slot, who is described as a ‘wizard’.

Tottenham’s attempted raid on Feyenoord may not end with Slot though – they also want his star player.

It’s stated that Tottenham ‘will come up with an offer’ for both Slot and midfielder Orkun Kokcu this week.

The report notes that Spurs will offer to transfer ‘tens of millions’ to Feyenoord for Slot and Kokcu – a situation described as ‘unfair’ because of the money in the Premier League.

Feyenoord will find it difficult to reject huge money from Tottenham but just how much the pair will cost remains to be seen.

Arne Slot and Orkun Kokcu could be just what Tottenham need

Tottenham need to go back to playing attacking football under a manager who wants to be there.

Enough of these so-called ‘winners’ who play boring football and seem to believe they’re doing Tottenham a favour.

Slot could be the man for Spurs having guided Feyenoord to a stunning league title win that few really predicted.

The Dutchman has pushed a superb brand of football in a high-pressing 4-2-3-1 setup, which will remind fans of the Mauricio Pochettino days.

Kokcu is Slot’s key man; the Feyenoord captain and the crucial player in midfield.

Slot called Kokcu ‘dominant’ earlier this season, but more for his control of the game in midfield rather than any major physical presence.

Kokcu has bagged 12 goals and five assists this season and still has huge potential at just 22.

Valued at around £40million according to The Mirror, Kokcu knows Slot’s style perfectly and could be a vital addition if Spurs do appoint the Dutchman.
