The release date and time countdown for when the Dead By Daylight Chapter 28 End Transmission PTB will come out and start is very nearly here, and the DBD public-test build will be available to play on PC.
Dead By Daylight fans have lots to look forward to during the remainder of the year. The DBD anniversary event 2023 starts in June with Twisted Masquerade, meanwhile the year 8 roadmap promises three new killers and survivors before 2024.
While Chapter 28 doesn’t fully release for another few weeks, tomorrow fans on PC will be able to play the PTB.

When does the DBD Chapter 28 PTB start?
The release date and time countdown for when the Dead By Daylight Chapter 28 End Transmission PTB will come out and start is 08:00 PDT, 11:00 EST, and 16:00 BST on May 23rd.
This comes courtesy of the anniversary event 2023 livestream on YouTube. During the livestream, BeHaviour Interactive announced the above, along with details about the new killer and survivor.
The new DBD Chapter 28 killer is named The Singularity. It is an AI infected by alien technology, and its purpose is now to kill humans rather than help them settle on a new planet. Its perks involve BioPods.
As for Gabriel Soma, he is an engineer whose perks include repairing generators faster. A new sci-fi map will be released with the killer and survivor, and Gabriel Soma will be able to locate and use an EMP device to help battle The Singularity.
How to play Dead By Daylight End Transmission PTB
Fans will only be able to play the Dead By Daylight Chapter 28 End Transmission PTB on Steam.
Fans on PlayStation and Xbox, as well as Epic Games, will have to wait until the full release on June 13th. If you happen to play DBD on Steam, simply follow the below steps to get access to the public-test build:
- Open Steam
- Proceed to Library
- Right-click Dead By Daylight and select Properties
- Click Betas
- Open the dropdown menu and select Public Tests
- Restart Steam and open DBD
