Rob Holding could leave Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to a report.

Journalist Dean Jones has told GiveMeSport that Rob Holding could leave Arsenal at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old defender played quite a few matches for Arsenal in the final weeks of the season.

Holding got his chance due to injury to French defender William Saliba.

Arsenal have missed out on the chance to win the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners’ defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday saw Manchester City become the champions of England yet again.

This is the third time in a row that City have won the Premier League title.

Rob Holding should leave Arsenal this summer

In our view, Rob Holding should leave Arsenal at the end of the season.

We do not think that the Englishman should stay at the Emirates Stadium beyond the summer of 2023.

Holding is in his peak years at the moment, but he is essentially a squad player at Arsenal.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta described Holding as “incredible” back in January 2021, but the defender does not feature regularly in the first team.

The Arsenal no. 16 has made six starts and eight substitute appearances in the Premier League this season.

Holding has scored one goal in those games.

The defender also made six starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Europa League for the Gunners, scoring one goal in the process.
