Like the original, the 2023 remake of White Men Can’t Jump is filled with music but which songs and artists feature in its toe-tapping soundtrack?

The music in a film or TV show can often make or break the final product as the use of licensed songs and original score can add just the right feeling to a scene.

For Hulu’s latest arrival, White Men Can’t Jump, that is incredibly important as the film looks to capture what made the original 1992 film so beloved.

Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes might not feature in 2023’s White Men Can’t Jump but the remake does pack in plenty of music but which songs feature in its soundtrack?

Who composed the score?

As well as the plethora of licensed songs that feature in 2023’s White Men Can’t Jump, the film also features an original score that is the work of composer Marcelo Zarvos.

The Brazilian musician has been working in the film and TV industry for more than 20 years and has provided music for a huge array of well-known productions.

Most recently, Zarvos composed the scores for Big George Foreman, Emancipation and Deep Water.

But that only scratches the surface of his body of work as he also composed music for the TV series Ray Donovan and its follow-up movie, The Affair, The Guilty, Penguin Bloom, Fences, Wonder and The Big C among others.
