Who composed the score?
As well as the plethora of licensed songs that feature in 2023’s White Men Can’t Jump, the film also features an original score that is the work of composer Marcelo Zarvos.
The Brazilian musician has been working in the film and TV industry for more than 20 years and has provided music for a huge array of well-known productions.
Most recently, Zarvos composed the scores for Big George Foreman, Emancipation and Deep Water.
But that only scratches the surface of his body of work as he also composed music for the TV series Ray Donovan and its follow-up movie, The Affair, The Guilty, Penguin Bloom, Fences, Wonder and The Big C among others.

White Men Can’t Jump is available to stream now on Hulu and Disney+ internationally after releasing on Friday, May 19, 2023.
