Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United could reportedly make a formal bid for Amine Adli, a player Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal also want to sign in the summer transfer window.
Newcastle United and Arsenal linked with Amine Adli
The Guardian have reported that Newcastle and Arsenal are among the clubs who are interested in signing Adli from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that Arsenal are monitoring the winger.
Bayern Munich and AC Milan are keen on the 23-year-old as well.
The report has added that Newcastle could now make a formal bid for the winger.
According to the report in The Guardian, Leverkusen will want more than £30 million for the player they paid £13 million for to Toulouse in 2021.

Summer transfer could happen
In our view, Newcastle United or Arsenal could be able to sign Amine Adli from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer transfer window.
Both Arsenal and Newcastle are big clubs, and it is hard to see the 23-year-old Frenchman turn down the chance to join the Gunners or the Magpies.
Moreover, Bayer are unlikely to be too tough in negotiations if they get decent offers for the youngster.
Adli has made 14 starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Bundesliga this season.
The 23-year-old has scored four goals and given three assists in those games.
The winger has also scored two goals and given one assist in seven UEFA Europa League matches for Bayer this campaign.
