Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing a player Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp rates really highly.

The summer transfer window will open soon, and Leeds, like other clubs, have been linked with a number of players.

Liverpool linked with Rangers winger Ryan Kent

One of those players is Rangers winger Ryan Kent.

Former Liverpool winger Kent is out of contract at Rangers at the end of the season.

And, according to TMW, Leeds are among the clubs who are keen on signing the 26-year-old on a free transfer in the summer of 2023.

Fenerbahce have already made an offer to the representatives of Kent, according to the Italian news outlet, who have claimed that Udinese and Bologna are interested in the Rangers winger as well.

This is not the first time that Leeds have been linked with Kent.

The West Yorkshire club have often been credited with interest in the winger.

Jurgen Klopp’s previous comments

And Liverpool manager Klopp’s previous comments show why.

Speaking back in July 2019, when Kent was still a Liverpool player, the German boss told LFCTV that the winger is a “wonderful” footballer.

Klopp said: “Ryan had sensational moments in the Sevilla game – one-on-one situations are his big strength. He is a wonderful kid, a wonderful player.”

Impressive player

Kent has made 28 starts and one substitute appearance in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers this season.

The Rangers no. 14 has scored three goals and given eight assists in those games.

Leeds are in danger of getting relegated from the Premier League to the Championship at the end of the season.

We do not think that the Rangers winger will be keen on a move to Elland Road if the Whites are not in the Premier League next season.
