Manchester United are now in advanced talks to sign Liverpool target Kim Min-jae after his stunning season with Napoli.
CalcioNapoli24 believe discussions are well underway between the Red Devils and the champions of Italy.
It comes after 90min claimed that Liverpool are interested in signing Kim Min-jae this summer.
What’s the story?
Well, the South Korea international joined Napoli for just £16m in a deal from Fenerbahce back in the summer.
Now – if reports from Italy are to be trusted – the Serie A title winners are set to make a huge profit as Manchester United prepare to pay his €60m (£52m) release clause.

CalcioNapoli24 believe Napoli have attempted to remove the release clause from Min-jae’s contract, although the centre-back himself has not cooperated, leading them to suggest he is open to a departure.
The 26-year-old has made 43 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring two goals while also providing two assists as Napoli won their first Serie A title in 33 years.
Move for Liverpool target Kim Min-jae suggests Harry Maguire could leave Manchester United
In our view, Erik ten Hag’s desire to sign the Napoli No.3 suggests he could look to offload Harry Maguire.
The England international has only made seven Premier League starts this season, with Luke Shaw, a natural left-back, even preferred in the centre of defence over him.
Therefore, if the Red Devils add further competition to Maguire’s position, it would suggest they are open to selling him.
90min believe Newcastle are interested in the Manchester United No.5 this summer, so an exit could be on.
In our view, it would be a good time to sell Maguire, as he will only have 12 months remaining on his contract when the summer of 2024 comes around, by which point his value will have dropped even more.
Be sure to keep an eye on the situation, as Min-jae would be a tremendous signing by the Red Devils.
