Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta really likes Granit Xhaka, but the Gunners could still sell the midfielder in the summer transfer window, according to a report.
Arsenal stance on Granit Xhaka
Goal have reported that Arteta “remains a big fan of Xhaka”, who is a key figure in the Arsenal team and has been brilliant for the Gunners this season.
Arsenal are in the running for the Premier League title this season.
And the £30 million (SkySports) midfielder has played his role.
The Arsenal no. 34 has made 33 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League this season.
Xhaka has scored five goals and given seven assists in those games.
Goal have reported that despite the importance of Xhaka, Arsenal could still sell him in the summer transfer window.

According to the report, Arsenal expect interest in the midfielder and could be open to letting him go in order to bring in a younger player such as Declan Rice and Moises Caicedo.
If Xhaka pushes to leave, then the Gunners will not stand in his way, according to Goal.
Future uncertain
It seems that nothing is set in stone when it comes to the future of Granit Xhaka at Arsenal.
Now, we all know how Xhaka has got back into the good books of Arsenal fans after publicly falling out with them a few years earlier.
And he is a regular for the Gunners in the middle of the park.
And despite being 30, Xhaka is at the top of his game.
However, Rice and Caicedo are much younger midfielders and have huge potential, so letting Xhaka leave and investing that transfer fee into signing either would not be a bad idea.
