Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing Lee Kang-in – a player who absolutely loves Son Heung-min.
Spurs should be in the market for a playmaker this summer having missed a real creative presence this season.
Spanish newspaper AS now report that Tottenham are interested in Mallorca star Lee Kang-in.
It’s stated that Tottenham have ‘closely followed’ Lee in recent times and they could now fight Atletico Madrid for his signature.
Lee is expected to cost around €20million (£17million), which should fit into Tottenham’s budget.
It’s of course hard to imagine Tottenham pushing for a new signing right now.
Spurs have no manager and no director of football, so there may be scope for Atletico to swoop in ahead of Tottenham.
Yet if Lee does have a chance to join forces with Son Heung-min, he may just jump at it…

Son Heung-min and Lee Kang-in could be ‘dream combination’ for Tottenham
This would be a fascinating move for Spurs, adding South Korea’s next big thing to their current superstar in Son.
Lee, 22, has been touted for stardom since his Valencia days and he has even been tabbed as the heir to Son in the South Korean national team.
For now, the pair are playing together under a former Spurs man in Jurgen Klinsmann, and Lee appears to be a huge fan of Son.
As quoted by Football Ghana during the World Cup, Lee called Son ‘the best player in Korean history’.
Lee added that Son is the ‘best finisher in the world’ and was constantly learning from him in South Korea training.
“He is the best player in Korean history,” said Lee. “He is amazing as a player and the best finisher in the world. I am learning a lot from watching him in training, performance, and off the pitch,” he added.
Lee would no doubt love to join up with Son at Tottenham and the South Korean media are pretty excited.
Radio Korea talk up Lee and Son as a ‘dream combination’, with South Korean fans desperate to see them in action together in the Premier League.
Tottenham may well agree and we could see Lee join Son in North London in the coming months as Spurs seek new additions.
