Tottenham Hotspur are considering the merits of former Chelsea boss Graham Potter as they target a new manager.
That is according to 90Min, who claim that Tottenham have a number of managerial targets in mind.
The usual names like Arne Slot and Ruben Amorim are again mentioned, but so is Graham Potter.
It’s stated that Tottenham are considering a move for Potter just weeks after he lost his job at Chelsea.
The report claims that Potter was in contention for the Spurs job back in 2021 following Jose Mourinho’s exit.
Tottenham ended up going for Nuno Espirito Santo in a move which seemed completely doomed from the beginning.
Potter was impressing as Brighton and Hove Albion boss at the time and Spurs decided not to move for him.
Now somewhat tainted by his Chelsea sacking, Potter doesn’t seem quite as appealing as he once was but Tottenham are still considering him.

Graham Potter is an option worth exploring for Tottenham
Potter to Chelsea just never seemed like a great fit.
Todd Boehly may have wanted to go with a patient approach with Potter but the expectation levels at Chelsea are so high.
The Blues fanbase are used to very quick success and they never really seemed fully on board with the Potter era.
Add in a raft of expensive signings to juggle and this job just really didn’t seem like the one for Potter.
Tottenham don’t have those expectations or the trigger-happy transfer policy.
Spurs have been down the route of appointing proven ‘winners’ with little success to show for it.
Their best spell was under Mauricio Pochettino, a manager who could develop younger players and play a decent brand of football.
Those are things Potter has shown in the past and he is certainly closer to the Pochettino mould than the likes of Mourinho or Antonio Conte.
Potter may not be the top target and Spurs will have some level of hesitancy after his Chelsea spell, but the Englishman is certainly worth an interview.
