Alex Crook has stated that the Leeds United players went to the club’s board to express that ‘Javi Gracia isn’t the right man to keep them in the Premier League’.

In February, Leeds sacked Jesse Marsch and they took two weeks to bring in Javi Gracia, even though he wasn’t even their first, second or even third choice.

Yet, fast forward to the present and the ex-Watford boss is about to get the treatment those at Watford have been handing out for a decade.

If Gracia does leave and is replaced by Sam Allardyce, then it would have a Watford-like sacking from Leeds.

Either way, it seems as though the Spanish coach has lost the dressing room which was touched upon by Alex Crook, as he told talkSPORT Breakfast (02/05/23).

“I am told the players themselves have actually gone to the board and they have suggested that Javi Gracia isn’t the right man to keep them in the Premier League,” said Crook.

“Will Sam Allardyce be the right man? We will find out.”

LEEDS PLAYERS NEED TO LOOK IN THE MIRROR

If it’s true that the Leeds players have expressed their discontent towards Gracia, then it’s a disgrace.

It’s only the same players who were on the pitch when Marcelo Bielsa was in the dugout, before he got sacked.

Then Marsch started well, and kept them up, but he also got the same treatment. And now Gracia.

Well, it’s high time these Leeds players looked in the mirror because they simply aren’t fit to wear the shirt.
