Robbie Fowler has suggested that Newcastle United star Joelinton would be perfect for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
The former Liverpool striker has outlined in The Sunday Mirror (30/4; page 73) why he rates Joelinton so highly.
The pundit believes that the £80,000-a-week (SalarySport) Brazilian midfielder would make Liverpool better.
Newcastle United star Joelinton ‘perfect’ for Liverpool
Fowler wrote, as transcribed by TBR: “I’d end too, by saying that I’m a big, big fan of Joelinton, who combines both aspects of the game I’ve been talking about… and looks just about the identikit of the perfect player for Liverpool.”
HITC Verdict: Summer transfer unlikely
In our view, Newcastle United are unlikely to sell Joelinton to Premier League rivals Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
Now, of course, we know that crazy things happen when the window is open, and every player has his price.

However, there are no credible reports saying that Liverpool are interested in Joelinton.
The Brazilian struggled at Newcastle when he was played as a forward, but manager Eddie Howe has used him as a midfielder.
And the 26-year-old has flourished.
One of the big reasons why Newcastle are so close to qualifying for the UEFA Champions League next season is because of the form and performances of Joelinton.
The 26-year-old has made 27 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Newcastle this season.
Joelinton has scored six goals and given one assist in those games.
