Sporting will not sell the 22-year-old defensive midfielder unless they receive €60 million (£53 million) in transfer fees.
That is the Uruguay international’s release clause.

If the Reds trigger the release clause in the Uruguayan star’s contract, then only the 22-year-old could stop a potential transfer.
And we do not think that the young defensive midfielder will turn down the chance to play for Liverpool.
