One for the future

Romaine Mundle played well for Tottenham Hotspur against Manchester United in the Premier League 2 game on Friday evening.

The 20-year-old winger scored for Spurs in the first half.

The youngster fired home on 16 minutes when he punished Will Kambwala’s loose pass out of the United defence with a stunning finish for his third goal in as many games.

The 20-year-old could have added a second just moments later.

Mundle demonstrated brilliant skill to cut in from the left and unleashed another curling effort.

But Vitek held at the second attempt as Damola Ajayi tried to pounce.

The youngster was at it again soon after, showing great feet to nutmeg Kambwala, but his close-range effort was saved.

Mundle did well in the second half as well.

The match between the Manchester United Under-21 side and their Tottenham Hotspur Under-21 counterparts ended in a 2-2 draw.
