Clinton Morrison has said that West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice could join Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The former Crystal Palace forward has said on Sky Sports News (12:15pm, April 29, 2023) that Rice would be a good signing for Arsenal.
The West Ham and England international midfielder has been linked with a move to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The Telegraph have reported that Arsenal have made the 24-year-old their main target for the summer of 2023.
And Morrison believes that Rice could be playing for the Gunners next season.
Clinton Morrison on West Ham United’s Declan Rice potentially joining Arsenal
Morrison said: “I know West Ham fans won’t like me saying that, but someone like Declan Rice could be on his way to Arsenal in the summer. That would be a good signing for midfield.”

HITC Verdict: Summer transfer could happen
In our view, Arsenal could be able to sign Declan Rice from London and Premier League rivals West Ham United in the summer transfer window.
Yes, West Ham are likely to retain their Premier League status for next season and could win a major European trophy this campaign, but Arsenal are a bigger club who could end up winning the Premier League title.
And the Gunners will certainly play in the UEFA Champions League next season and will now aim to challenge for the league title in the coming years.
We believe that a move to Arsenal would be hugely appealing to Rice.
