Alan Brazil has shared what Mauricio Pochettino told him about Tottenham Hotspur amid speculation that the former Spurs boss is on his way to Chelsea.
Former Tottenham forward Brazil has said on talkSPORT (9:11am, April 28, 2023) that Pochettino wanted to return to Spurs.
The talkSPORT presenter has claimed that the Argentine boss told him a few weeks ago that he was waiting for Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy to give him a call and ask him to go back to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
However, the former Paris Saint-Germain boss now looks to be on his way to Tottenham’s London and Premier League rivals Chelsea.
According to The Mirror, former Tottenham head coach Pochettino is set to become the new head coach of Chelsea.

Brazil said: “I spoke to Poch a few weeks ago, and he was sitting by the phone almost waiting for Spurs to come and call him.
“He wants a bit of the Premier again, and it looks as if he could be on his way to Chelsea.”

In our view, Tottenham Hotspur fans need to move on from Mauricio Pochettino.
That ship has sailed.
If Spurs chairman Daniel Levy wanted to bring back the Argentine, then a deal would have happened by now.
It seems that it is Chelsea where the Argentine will go to next.
Chelsea are a big club who regularly win trophies and challenge for major honours.
The Blues have the squad now to at least challenge for big things next season and beyond.
