AC Milan are reportedly willing to offer Charles De Ketelaere to West Ham in an attempt to sign Italian international Gianluca Scamacca.
According to Telelombardia via TeamTalk, the UEFA Champions League semi-finalists are keen on bringing in a new striker this summer, with West Ham’s Scamacca being viewed as a potential option as the Irons look ready to offload the forward after just one year.
Scamacca joined the east London side from Sassuolo in one of the most exciting deals of the summer, however, perhaps unsurprisingly, the 24-year-old has failed to settle in England with West Ham, and a move back to Italy could now be on the cards.

And Milan could offer a potential resolution in the form of a swap deal involving De Ketelaere, who just like Scamacca made a big transfer last summer only for the move to go completely wrong, with the Belgian also set for an early exit.
Once lauded as a ‘generational’ talent by the Italian media, De Ketelaere heading to West Ham with Scamacca going in the other direction could be an appealing move for all parties, especially for the Irons given how versatile the former Club Brugge star is in the attacking line.
De Ketelaere and Scamacca could both want swap deal this summer

Neither De Ketelaere or Scamacca could have imagined their debut seasons at Milan and West Ham respectively could have ended up unravelling this badly, yet the two talented forwards can remedy their mistakes last summer by participating in a swap deal.
With Scamacca keen on a return to Italy and De Ketelaere ideal for the Premier League, there is a lot of room for a deal to be made in the coming weeks, and Milan and West Ham could both be open to such an exchange if the finances make sense on both ends.
