It has been claimed that Luis Enrique has already had a direct conversation with Daniel Levy about becoming the next Tottenham Hotspur manager.
A report on Saturday claimed that after being linked with taking over the Chelsea job for weeks on end, the club ultimately decided not to shortlist him as one of their primary candidates.
As Tottenham Hotspur now have a clear run at bringing in Luis Enrique as their manager, it has been revealed that he has already spoken to Daniel Levy.

Referring to himself as the ‘best coach on the face of the earth’, as quoted by Reuters, Enrique has also been credited for how well he did to rebuild a young Spanish side during his time in charge.
Now, it has been reported by 90 Min journalist Graeme Bailey that Luis Enrique has already spoken to Daniel Levy about becoming the next Tottenham manager.
“Talks are ongoing now, they have held talks with Luis Enrique, he’s someone Daniel Levy has liked all along and he’s an option. They need to find a Director of Football too, Arne Slot is getting a lot of attention.”
“Luis Enrique on the other hand is someone who has had talks with Daniel Levy, I think he’s the dream appointment for Daniel Levy and for Spurs fans, hand on heart do I see them getting Enrique over the line? I just can’t see them doing it, I don’t know how Levy sells the club to him”, he said on the Talking Transfers Podcast.
Tottenham fans will be collectively hoping and praying that the talks between Luis Enrique and Daniel Levy went over smoothly, as he would be the perfect manager to take the club to the top.
