Former Tottenham Hotspur coach Jesus Perez is set to follow Mauricio Pochettino to Chelsea as part of his staff.
That is according to The Telegraph, who claim that Pochettino is set to become the new Chelsea boss.
Negotiations are now at the final stages for the Argentinian to be named as Graham Potter’s successor.
It’s unclear whether Pochettino will take charge of Chelsea immediately or at the end of the season.
This move will really sting for Tottenham fans though, who have been chanting for Pochettino to become their new manager.
What will hurt even more is that Pochettino is taking his old Spurs staff members to Chelsea too.
The Telegraph state that Pochettino is expected to bring Jesus Perez, Miguel D’Agostino, Toni Jimenez and son Sebastiano to West London.
All four of them worked with Pochettino at Tottenham and will now be looking to take rivals Chelsea forward very soon.

Jesus Perez predicted Tottenham Hotspur return for Pochettino
Perez remains a popular figure with Spurs fans.
Tottenham supporters still send messages to Perez urging him to come back to North London alongside Pochettino.
Perez certainly fuelled that idea when speaking to the London Evening Standard in 2021.
The Spaniard suggested that Pochettino and Daniel Levy were still very close and there were no hard feelings over their 2019 exits.
Perez even promised that he and Pochettino would be back at Spurs one day, stating it would ‘for sure’ happen.
“Mauricio and Daniel still text each other and they have a very good relationship. We don’t have any bad feelings with Daniel. The other way around. It was a professional decision,” said Perez. “At some point, we had to split but we will be back at Spurs for sure,” he added.
Sadly for Tottenham fans, that reunion isn’t going to happen at Spurs this summer – or any time soon.
It would be hard enough to swallow if Spurs ignored Pochettino and Perez to go in another direction.
Yet to seemingly show no interest and allow Pochettino and Perez to join bitter rivals Chelsea? This is one that Tottenham fans won’t forget and Levy simply has to get his next appointment right if he’s going to avoid a move for Pochettino.
