John Terry was impressed by Declan Rice for West Ham United last night, amid rumours linking him with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Chelsea.
Rice has been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea, and the West Ham midfielder showed on Thursday evening why he is in demand.
The Hammers got the better of KAA Gent 4-1 at London Stadium in the second leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League quarter-final tie on Thursday evening.
David Moyes’s side won the tie 5-2 on aggregate.
Rice, who can also operate as a defender, scored in the 58th minute.
The 24-year-old also played well overall.

The Independent reported this week that Arsenal are keen on signing Rice from London and Premier League rivals West Ham in the summer transfer window.

Rice has scored two goals and given two assists in 30 Premier League appearances for the Hammers so far this season.
