Darren Bent has said that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta should not sell Emile Smith Rowe to Unai Emery’s Aston Villa in the summer transfer window.
The former Tottenham Hotspur striker has said on talkSPORT (4:55pm, April 20, 2023) that Smith Rowe will get chances for Arsenal next season.
The 22-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, has been linked with a move to Aston Villa in the summer of 2023.
TalkSPORT have reported that Villa are back in the hunt for Smith Rowe.
The Villans wanted to sign the England international playmaker from Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer of 2021.
Villa reportedly had a bid of £30 million for the youngster turned down.

Bent said about Smith Rowe: “I think he has got to keep him.
“I know that he is probably disappointed that he is not playing many games, and he has the injuries, and also the form of Saka, and he has been so durable, Saka as well, and that has played his part.
“Martinez has been fantastic, Trossard has come in. I think next season he will get more game time.”
