Liverpool have indicated that they would be happy to pay Ryan Gravenberch around £200,000-a-week to join the Reds this summer.

That is according to a report from The Mirror, who claim that Liverpool have a rough agreement on terms with Bayern Munich ace Gravenberch.

It’s stated that Liverpool would need to pay Gravenberch around £200,000-a-week in order to make the move from Bavaria to Merseyside.

However, those terms allegedly weren’t a problem when Liverpool held talks with Gravenberch’s father, also named Ryan.

Gravenberch is understood to be ‘flattered’ by Liverpool’s interest in signing him this summer.

The Reds hope that Bayern will choose to sell Gravenberch as they ramp up their move for the Dutchman.

Bayern are about to sign a new midfielder with Konrad Laimer on his way in from RB Leipzig on a free transfer.

Laimer could end up being a replacement for Manchester United loanee Marcel Sabitzer rather than Gravenberch though, meaning Liverpool face a wait to find out if Bayern would sell.

Ryan Gravenberch to Liverpool is gathering pace

Liverpool have backed away from the chase to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.

That means other midfielders will now be targeted and Gravenberch appears to be on the wish list.

Liverpool Echo reported earlier this month that the Reds have ‘significant interest’ in signing the Bayern ace.

That really accelerated on Monday as Sky Sports claimed that Gravenberch is ‘enthusiastic’ over a switch to Liverpool.

Now it sounds like talks between Liverpool and Gravenberch’s camp have gone well, potentially teeing up a summer move.

The 20-year-old was a top talent at Ajax and looked to be a huge signing for the future when Bayern pounced last summer..

Yet after just one Bundesliga start this season, Gravenberch is having his head turned by Liverpool.

£200,000-a-week is huge money for a youngster like Gravenberch but Liverpool may well believe that he can prove to be value for money in the years to come.
