Liverpool ace Stefan Bajcetic has congratulated Tottenham Hotspur youngster Yago Santiago after he penned a new contract at Spurs.
The Reds midfielder and the Tottenham forward were both at the books of hometown club Celta Vigo early on in their careers.
Although Bajcetic is now at Liverpool and Santiago is now at Spurs, it looks as though they’re still looking out for one another.

On Friday, Tottenham announced that Santiago had penned a new contract at the club that runs until the summer of 2025.
The 19-year-old took to Instagram to express his delight and pride at signing a new deal at Spurs.
Bajcetic was among those who congratulated Santiago, with the Liverpool ace writing” grande chaval”, or “big guy”.
Bajcetic has been one of this season’s success stories at Liverpool.
The 18-year-old has made 19 senior appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s Reds this term.
Bajcetic has been superb and has helped alleviate Liverpool’s midfield crisis.

Meanwhile, Santiago has been an ever-present for Tottenham Under-21s.
The Spurs talent has six goals and three assists from 29 outings at age level.
Although Santiago is yet to make his senior Tottenham debut, he is clearly highly rated at the club.
Hopefully we’ll see more of him in and around the first team over the coming season.
Maybe an EFL loan could be on the cards next term, and then who knows?
If all goes well, the Liverpool ace and the Tottenham talent could both become regulars at club level and for Spain too.
