Report claims Arne Slot as Tottenham manager looks likely

Slot has done a phenomenal job at Feyenoord, elevating them from their 3rd place finish to champions-elect in the Eredivisie.

In the 1st leg of the Europa League as well, the Dutch coach masterminded a 1-0 victory against Jose Mourinho’s Roma.

Branded as the ‘best coach in the world at the moment’ by Feyenoord forward Alireza Jahanbaksh, the highly-rated tactician is certainly worthy of all the plaudits in the world.

A report by Voetbal International has now come to light that states that Arne Slot has a ‘good chance’ of being brought in as the next Tottenham manager.

In addition, it is claimed that Slot is highly admired within the Spurs boardroom due to his eye-catching possession-dominant brand of football, which could prompt the club to make a serious move for him.

For starters, the Lilywhites would get their hands on a coach that sets his teams up to play an attractive style of football that the fans will flock to.

As for Slot himself, he gets to manage in the most watched league in the world at one of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Arne Slot is also the kind of manager that would build a long-term manager at Tottenham, which is imperative if the club aspire for a chance at sustained success.

In terms of his progressive philosophy as well, the young coach could change the club’s footballing identity forever if given a chance to shine.
