Gary Lineker seemingly can’t believe that Leicester City are about to appoint ex-Leeds United man Jesse Marsch as their new manager.
The Foxes lost again on Saturday afternoon as they were beaten 1-0 at home by Bournemouth.
That’s now just one point taken from the last eight games and Leicester are in real danger of going down.
Action was taken last Sunday as Brendan Rodgers left the club by mutual consent – and his replacement appears to be inbound.
The Telegraph report that Leicester are now in ‘advanced talks’ to appoint Jesse Marsch as their new manager.
The decision seems a strange one and Leicester fan Gary Lineker certainly doesn’t appear to be convinced.
The Match of the Day host took to Twitter on Saturday to post just one word in reaction to the news about Marsch.
Lineker simply asked ‘really?’ upon seeing claims that Marsch is heading to the King Power Stadium.
Lineker later stated on Match of the Day that he is surprised to see Marsch chosen as Rodgers’ successor, seemingly not entirely on board with the idea.

Jesse Marsch a shock choice for Leicester City
Leicester are keen to get a manager in right now, so a move for somebody like Graham Potter just isn’t going to work.
Nobody really expected Marsch to be their man though given his axe from Leeds United in February.
The Whites are in a relegation battle just like Leicester and decided to axe Marsch after a torrid run of form.
Leeds have seen a real upturn in form under Marsch’s replacement Javi Gracia and certainly don’t regret their decision.
Leicester seemingly have some sort of belief that things will be different for them under Marsch and he can drag them to safety.
The American did succeed with that task at Leeds last season but he struggled to develop anything beyond survival.
We’re stunned at this choice from the Foxes but Marsch will be desperate to find some success in the Premier League after his Leeds exit.
