Tottenham Hotspur could now miss out on Adama Bojang with Napoli joining the race to snap up the teenager.
Tottenham don’t even have a director of football at the moment.
Fabio Paratici’s worldwide ban means he has now stepped back from his duties at Spurs.
Whether he ends up resuming work for the summer transfer window remains to be seen but the transfer rumours keep coming.
The Daily Mail report that Tottenham remain interested in signing Gambian talent Adama Bojang.
However, Serie A leaders Napoli are now interested too and could move to bring Bojang to Italy.
Royal Antwerp are interested as well but Napoli present a major threat to Tottenham’s interest.
Bojang wouldn’t qualify for a work permit so Tottenham would need to loan him out if they do strike a deal.
However, Paratici’s absence may have just opened the door for Napoli to swoop in and take full advantage.

Who is Tottenham target Adama Bojang?
Bojang currently plays for Steve Biko FC over in the Gambian capital of Banjul.
Bojang has really started making a name for himself this year having dazzled at the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
Gambia finished second to winners Senegal and Bojang was outstanding throughout.
Bojang hit four goals to help Gambia reach the final with Senegal midfielder Pape Diop the only player to outscore him.
Those exploits have generated real interest in Bojang and the striker looks set to move on very soon.
Bojang has even earned the nickname of ‘The Gambian Hurricane’ having shown enormous potential at just 18.
Remarkably, only one Gambian player has ever featured in the Premier League – that was Modou Barrow for Swansea City.
Big things are expected of Bojang and Tottenham may soon need to decide whether to somehow press forward and sign him even without Paratici in the building.
