Tottenham Hotspur target Steve Cooper is still on the brink at Nottingham Forest after Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Spurs are considering a number of managerial targets after parting ways with Antonio Conte.
One of the names on Daniel Levy’s radar is thought to be Forest boss Cooper.
The Daily Mail reported in March that Cooper has admirers inside Tottenham.
The Athletic’s Jack Pitt-Brooke also noted that he had heard of Tottenham’s interest in the Welshman.
Cooper worked wonders to get Forest into the Premier League, guiding them through the Championship playoffs last season.
A move to Tottenham would be something of a risk given Cooper’s lack of Premier League experience but Spurs are considering all different types of coaches.
Cooper appears to be on the list but he is now in real danger of losing his job at Nottingham Forest.

Steve Cooper in trouble at Nottingham Forest
The Telegraph reported last week that Forest could sack Cooper in the very near future.
Saturday’s game against Wolverhampton Wanderers was seen as a big game for Forest did avoid defeat in a 1-1 draw.
That isn’t enough to ease the pressure on Cooper though and defeat at Leeds United tonight could spell the end.
The Daily Mail even report today that Forest could sack Cooper and appoint Patrick Vieira if they lose at Elland Road.
It seems Forest are getting a little twitchy about their recent form in relation to the battle against the drop.
Forest have taken just three points in the last seven games and haven’t won since beating Leeds in February.
That means Cooper is facing a crucial 90 minutes tonight as he risks losing his job in the City Ground hot seat.
Tottenham will be paying close attention to Cooper’s fate, but going from being sacked at Forest to landing the Spurs job would be a real shock.
