Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are ready to make a bid for Brahim Diaz, a player Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City sold to Real Madrid.
Arsenal ready to bid for Brahim Diaz
Tuttosport have reported that Arsenal are interested in signing Diaz from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners are reportedly ready to make a bid of €30 million (£26 million) for the 23-year-old.
The Spain international playmaker has been on loan at AC Milan from Madrid since 2020.
Defending Premier League champions Manchester City sold the youngster to Madrid in 2019.
Current Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta worked with the £107,000-a-week (SalarySport) Diaz when he was a coach at City.

HITC Verdict: Good potential signing for the Gunners
In our view, it would be a good deal for Arsenal if they are able to sign Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid for £26 million.
It is not a lot of money to pay for a 23-year-old who has huge potential.
After all, if the attacking midfielder was not good, then Madrid would not have signed him.
And he is now playing for AC Milan.
So, clearly big clubs in Europe like him.
Diaz can operate as a central attacking midfielder or as a right winger.
The youngster has made 19 starts and four substitute appearances in Serie A for Milan so far this season.
Diaz has scored four goals and given three assists in those games.
The 23-year-old has also scored one goal in six UEFA Champions League appearances for Milan so far this campaign.
