Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Bayern have decided to sack Julian Nagelsmann as their head coach and are set to appoint Tuchel in his place.
The German boss has accepted to become the new Bayern boss and will soon sign the contract, according to Romano.
Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has reported on Twitter that Tuchel will sign a two-and-a-half year contract with the defending Bundesliga champions.

Following Antonio Conte’s extraordinary outburst last week, Sky Sports are among a number of media outlets who have reported that Tottenham could sack the Italian.
Earlier this month, GiveMeSport reported that Tuchel is “seen by some” as a “serious candidate” to replace Antonio Conte at Tottenham Hotspur.
The German coach, who has won as many as 13 trophies in his career as a manager, was sacked by Chelsea in September 2022.
