Harry Redknapp has claimed that Jurgen Klopp could have publicly ranted about his Liverpool team this season, just like Antonio Conte has done with his Tottenham Hotspur side.
But the former Tottenham boss pointed out that Jurgen Klopp didn’t, and instead, kept everything in-house, something which he thinks the ‘very emotional’ Antonio Conte should have perhaps done.
From conceding five at home to Real Madrid in the Champions League to those suffocating away defeats at the likes of Brighton and Brentford.

Whilst the Reds are breathing down Tottenham’s necks for fourth spot, it has been a season of serious struggle, especially on the road where they have been taken apart on a number of occasions.
The heaviest criticism Klopp has probably made of his team was their defeat at Napoli in the Champions League – for Klopp, it was the club’s worst performance under his ownership.
Nonetheless, following Conte’s rant about Tottenham, ex-Premier League boss Harry Redknapp used Liverpool as an example when sharing his thoughts, as he told talkSPORT.
“There are so many of them that could have come out (and criticised their players),” said Redknapp.
“Jurgen Klopp, look at the results they have had. They beat Man United, then come to Bournemouth and get beat. He could have gone into one, couldn’t he?! About not bringing enough players and how the team plays, but he didn’t!
“That is Conte. He is a very emotional type of guy. That’s what you get with him. That’s probably what has made him a great manager.”

CONTE TO PAY THE PRICE?
Some would argue that Conte wants Daniel Levy to give him the boot for his comments and fast forward to the obvious, and that’s the Italian leaving now, rather than in June.
In truth, Conte might get his wish because there is talk that Ryan Mason will come in to replace the outspoken coach until the end of the season, a situation which talkSPORT pundit Ally McCoist called a ‘mess’.
Whatever happens, surely the likes of Liverpool, who are chasing down Spurs for fourth, enjoy what they are seeing in north London, because if Tottenham’s problems only grow, then it increases their chances of overtaking them.
