Adrien Rabiot could now reportedly stay at Juventus with the Old Lady willing to meet the French midfielder’s contract demand, with Liverpool and Manchester United keen on the Serie A star.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian giants are willing to meet Rabiot’s financial demands to allow the 27-year-old to stay in Turin, though whether or not the midfielder actually signs a new contract will depend on if Massimiliano Allegri can lead his side to the UEFA Champions League.
Juventus currently sit seven points off AC Milan in fourth, though the Bianconeri are one of the favourites to win the UEFA Europa League, a competition that comes with the grand prize of an automatic spot in next season’s Champions League.
And this update surrounding Rabiot’s future could be a huge spark of motivation for Juventus to return to Europe’s premier club competition, with 90min claiming that Jurgen Klopp’s side have recently been in direct contact with the France international over a potential summer move.

Indeed, with United also strongly linked with Rabiot, the midfielder ultimately staying in Italy with Juventus would be a surprising decision for many, especially given how likely a Premier League switch has looked for the former PSG star in the past few months.
However, Juventus’ form on the pitch and their new youth-based direction has seemingly changed Rabiot’s mind, and the midfielder signing a new contract with the club could turn out to be a wise decision from the 27-year-old, who is currently enjoying his best season yet in Italy.
Rabiot staying with Juventus could work out for all parties

Rabiot’s performances this season have caught many off-guard, with the Frenchman establishing himself as a star for Juventus as well as a key player for France at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. And whilst such displays might warrant a move to England, staying in Turin could be for the best.
As we know, Juventus are taking a whole new direction under Allegri, with the Italian choosing to give minutes to younger players and to bring the age of the squad down over the summer, and Rabiot could be viewed as a leader at the club should he decide to stay, something the midfielder won’t be granted at a Liverpool or a United.
