The English actor’s breakthrough role was as the teenager Luke Perry in the 2014 drama The Beat Beneath My Feet. He went on to star in titles including High Strung and Handsome Devil before playing the lead role in Netflix‘s Purple Hearts.

The rumors that the Prince Robert actor is a real prince are in fact true – kind of. Nicholas Galitzine is not currently a royal, but he does come from a Russian noble bloodline.
According to Hollywood Ancestory, Galitzine, his father, and his grandfather, are all direct descendants of the noble House of Golitsyn, one of the largest princely houses in the ancient Tsardom of Russia. The House allegedly ruled over parts of present-day Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, and Russia.
During the Russian Revolution, which saw the fall of the aristocracy in Russia and ended in 1923, his ancestors reportedly moved to the UK where they started a new life.
Nick appears to be close with his Noble-descended father as he posted a heartfelt Instagram dedicated to him on Father’s Day. “Your courage and your drive inspire me more than you know. You’ve been there for me every step of the way and I couldn’t wish for better,” he wrote.

Nicholas Galitzine was born in London on September 29, 1994, making him 28 years old. He attended Dulwich college school in South East London where he was an avid rugby player.
Although he came to acting relatively late, scoring his first role at the age of 20, his career is on the up. In keeping with the royal theme, The Cinderella star recently announced that he will join the cast of Sky and AMC series Mary And Geroge, alongside Julianne Moore. The show is set in King James I’s England.

He recalled: “There was a girl who was going up to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival who I really fancied. I did [the festival] so I could go chase this girl. And I came back with this acting agency.”
