Lance Reddick sadly passed away, but his dramatic reading of a news story related to Elon Musk will live on.

The talented artist established himself in Hollywood by appearing in a number hit of television shows and movies. He has also featured in John Wick: Chapter 4, which is set to release in the last week of March this year.

Watch Lance Reddick dramatically read Elon Musk news

A lot unfolded on Twitter when Elon Musk introduced paid blue checkmarks on his platform. The decision pushed the company to temporarily pause the feature as fake accounts kept swamping the micro-blogging site.

The Washington Post ran a story with the headline: “Elon Musk’s first big Twitter product paused after fake accounts spread,” and Lance couldn’t stop himself from reading it aloud, with an edge of course!

He took to Twitter to provide a disclaimer before taking to reading the breaking news about Twitter’s new feature in the most dramatic, yet entertaining way.

“Hello. I am a human being, and as such, I can be petty,” the actor said, before proceeding to read the headlines and the first couple of lines of the article, calling it “delicious.”

He even mocks the news after the reading by saying: “Who on Earth could have anticipated that this would happen” and resorts to laugh hysterically, only to say “Elon Musk, I love you buddy”, before the video concludes.

Fans can’t get enough of the video

The above video of Lance is like a hidden gem on the Internet and it doesn’t cease to entertain fans no matter how many times it’s watched.

One comment reads: “How much can we pay you to read every story like this every day.”

“I just want the one dramatic reading,” said another.

A third fan said: “I would listen to this man read anything, but reading THIS with THAT energy was perfection.”

“That snicker is so evil and I love it. Spoken like a true villain (Wesker),” said another.

Keanu Reeves mourns the death of his co-star

In a joint statement with the director of John Wick, Chad Stahelski, Keanu Reeves mourned the loss of his co-star.

“We are deeply saddened and heartbroken at the loss of our beloved friend and colleague Lance Reddick. He was the consummate professional and a joy to work with,” they said. “Our love and prayers are with his wife Stephanie, his children, family and friends. We dedicate the film to his loving memory. We will miss him dearly.”

Lionsgate also paid tribute to the actor by noting that no one could have brought Lance’s character Charon to life as he did.

“Lance leaves behind an indelible legacy and hugely impressive body of work, but we will remember him as our lovely, joyful friend and Concierge.”

The late actor is survived by his wife, Stephanie, and their two children – Yvonne Nicole Reddick, and Christopher Reddick.
