Tottenham Hotspur legend Pat Jennings has waxed lyrical about Spurs goalkeeper Fraser Forster, in conversation with i.
The 35-year-old joined Tottenham last summer as a deputy for Hugo Lloris.
There was always the chance Forster may have not featured often, as was the case with Joe Hart and Pierluigi Gollini.

However, Lloris has been sidelined since early February, and Forster has featured in Tottenham’s last eight games.
The £75,000-a-week goalkeeper has done very well too, and really stood out in the win over Nottingham Forest.
Forster made a fine save from former Spurs ace Serge Aurier before saving Andre Ayew’s late penalty.
And Jennings, who played over 400 times for Tottenham between 1964 and 1977, loves what he’s been seeing.
“Forster’s been brilliant, I wouldn’t think anybody could criticise him,” he said.
Underrated signing
Although Tottenham have blown hot and cold this season, Forster’s form has been one of the highlights.
He has really stepped up to the plate and made sure Spurs haven’t missed Lloris too much.
This poses a dilemma for Antonio Conte when the 2018 World Cup winner returns to action.

Forster has certainly done enough to warrant an extended run in the first team even once Lloris is back.
There’s always some anxiety among fans when a second-choice goalkeeper has to step in for a number of games.
However, Forster has seamlessly slotted into the team and Spurs remain in contention for a top-four finish.
Truly an underrated signing, particularly when you consider he cost nothing.
