The release date for when the Resident Evil 4 Remake will come out is just over a week away, and details about when the RE4 review embargo will end have been revealed.
Resident Evil 4 Remake is one of the most anticipated games of the year. The original is one of the greatest games of all time, and the retelling promises to be even better similar to RE2 back in 2019.
We cannot wait to play as Leon rescuing the president’s daughter once again, and final impressions will reportedly be delivered one week before launch.

When does the Resident Evil 4 Remake review embargo end?
Metacritic shared that the Resident Evil 4 Remake review embargo will end late in the week of March 13th to the 19th.
No date has been specified, but it’s most likely March 17th as final impressions don’t typically come out on the weekend. Metacritic’s tweet was posted on March 7th, so, again, verdicts should be delivered sooner rather than later.
Although reviews for RE4 are not out as of yet, you can sample the game right now by playing the demo revealed during the Capcom Showcase 2023. This Chainsaw Demo is available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam.
It is only short, but there is no time-limit unlike RE2 with the Racoon Police Station. You can also replay it as many times as you want with a secret and exclusive Chainsaw difficulty mode available.
