Liverpool are back in the hunt for Julian Brandt some six years since signing Mohamed Salah instead of the German star.
That’s according to 90Min, who claim that Liverpool are watching Borussia Dortmund star Brandt very closely.
It’s stated that Arsenal, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur have also been watching Brandt’s situation.
Brandt is out of contract in 2024 and is now inside the final 18 months of his Dortmund deal.
It’s added that Dortmund are confident of keeping Brandt, but the mounting interest from Premier League clubs is surely a concern.
Dortmund are ‘determined’ to keep Brandt around for a while yet and will push to get a new contract sorted before the summer transfer window.

Liverpool wanted Julian Brandt in 2017
Brandt has ben outstanding this season as Dortmund chase a first Bundesliga title since the Jurgen Klopp era.
The 26-year-old has bagged eight goals and four assists in 23 Bundesliga games this season.
Capable of playing in a wide range of midfield roles, Brandt may be the kind of player Jurgen Klopp feels he can use in a variety of systems at Liverpool.
This isn’t the first time Liverpool have been linked with a move for Brandt.
The Liverpool Echo noted in 2017 that Liverpool had targeted a deal to sign Brandt from Bayer Leverkusen.
However, Brandt decided to stay with the Bundesliga side and his snub meant Liverpool pivoted to sign Mohamed Salah instead.
You have to say that decision has worked out pretty well for the Reds.
Klopp may well have maintained his interest in Brandt over the years and may finally secure his man this summer.
Dortmund will be pushing to keep Brandt but it looks like the rumours over a move to Liverpool are returning yet again.
