With only hours to go before Arsenal kick off against Bournemouth, Amario Cozier-Duberry has been spotted training with the first-team at London Colney once again.

The 17-year-old was pictured training with the Gunners senior team ahead of their 4-0 thrashing of Leicester City as well. What will excite the Emirates faithful is that Mikel Arteta referred to the teenager as ‘brilliant’ amongst several others.

As Arsenal plan to maintain their 5-point lead at the top of the Premier League table by defeating Bournemouth, Amario Cozier-Duberry has been seen training with the first-team.

The ‘explosive’ left-footed right-winger has been compared to Bayer Leverkusen’s Moussa Diaby by youth football expert Jacek Kulig, who has been linked with a switch to Mikel Arteta’s side in the summer.

Now, a picture on Getty Images has surfaced with Amario Cozier-Duberry trying to keep Fabio Vieira at bay while he keeps the ball in Arsenal training ahead of their contest against Bournemouth.

It would not come as a surprise if the Englishman is in the matchday squad for the contest and if the league leaders ending up making things look easy, perhaps even be in line for his Premier League debut off the bench.

New Saka in the making?

While the youngster has been compared to Diaby, another player that he often gets likened to is Bukayo Saka itself, due to his silky left foot, quick feet, acceleration and build.

Considering Amario Cozier-Duberry can also fill in at left wing-back, perhaps one reason why he is in Arsenal training ahead of recent games such as against Leicester and Bournemouth is perhaps because he is seen as a backup to the side’s talismanic figure.

If the Gunners manage to produce a carbon copy of the most in-form young player in English football, the envy from other teams would be understandable.
