Paul Merson has written in The Daily Star that Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard is good enough to play for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
The former Arsenal star believes that Trossard has been superb for the Gunners since his move from Brighton and Hove Albion in the January transfer window.
The Sky Sports pundit has hailed the impact that the Belgium international has made at Arsenal already.
Merson believes that Trossard is so good that he could play for Manchester City.
Paul Merson on Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard
The pundit said: “Leandro Trossard looks like another sublime piece of business, you’d think he was an Arsenal player anyway on the basis of how he’s settled at the club.
“He’s stepped in and done a great job and even when Gabriel Jesus returns, Trossard can play where Gabriel Martinelli plays. They have so many options.
“It’s a snip at just £27million. Trossard could play for Manchester City in my book, he’s that talented.”

Immediate impact at the Gunners
In our view, Leandro Trossard has made an immediate impact at Arsenal and has already proved his worth.
The winger has shown that he can operate as a false nine as well as a ‘traditional’ winger.
The Belgian has scored one goal and given two assists in three Premier League starts for Arsenal.
Trossard is a valuable option for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
The winger can start ahead of Gabriel Martinelli or come on in the place of the Brazil international as a substitute.
Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment.
For the Gunners to win the league title this season, Trossard will have to play his part.
