Real Madrid are reportedly willing to offer a huge contract to sign Jude Bellingham but only if the Liverpool target agrees to a move in 2024, with Borussia Dortmund expected to sell the midfielder this summer.
According to AS, Los Blancos don’t have the financial capacity to make a move to sign the England international this year, with Madrid having to rely on Luka Modric and Toni Kroos to significantly lower their salaries if they’re to land Bellingham this summer.
As a result, Madrid are now willing to offer Bellingham a huge contract to sign for the club in 2024, a proposition that could appeal to the 19-year-old midfielder if he decides that he wants a move to the Spanish giants instead of a return to England via the Premier League.
Liverpool are currently the favourites to sign Bellingham even with their chances of finishing in the top-four looking very slim after a disastrous campaign in the Premier League. However, the situation could change quickly if Madrid are willing to commit to the Dortmund star in 2024.

Indeed, Madrid’s potential proposal could be a tempting one for Bellingham, who has no real reason to leave Dortmund if the German giants qualify for the UEFA Champions League and win the Bundesliga title. However, this update could spur Liverpool to find the finances needed to secure a deal.
As we know, Liverpool are desperate for a top midfield signing in the summer, with Bellingham their main target. And if Madrid offer this proposal to the England international, the Anfield side could be left scrambling to counter for the 19-year-old, especially if they miss out on the top four.
Madrid signing Bellingham could happen if Liverpool fail with top-four

Bellingham is easily the hottest property in football this year, and for Madrid, the England midfielder is arguably the perfect player to add to their ranks with Modric and Kroos in the final stages of their career, and Liverpool missing out on top-four could open a realistic avenue for a deal to be made.
Whilst Liverpool could have the funds to sign Bellingham, no Champions League football will make it very difficult for the Reds to convince the midfielder to join this summer, which could allow Madrid to swoop in with a deal to sign the teenager in 2024 that could benefit all parties.
