According to Sport1, Liverpool hold an interest in Ryan Gravenberch heading into the summer transfer window.
It is claimed that Liverpool have made their first move for the midfielder and have asked his agents about what the player is like personally.
Gravenberch isn’t having the best of times after joining Bayern Munich in the summer – he can barely get a game in Bavaria, but we mustn’t forget just how good of a player he can be.
Indeed, during his time at Ajax he was hailed as the next big thing, and his coach, Brian Tevreden, even went as far as to compare him to Paul Pogba.

Better than Pogba
As quoted by Goal, Tevreden spoke incredibly highly of Gravenberch as a youngster.
“Technically, I would say he’s a better version of Pogba in his best days at Juventus, in terms of his technique and his presence on the pitch,” He said.
“He’s very dominant like Pogba was, and that’s what I see in Ryan.”
Just what Liverpool need
If Gravenberch can finally live up to his potential, then he could be exactly the type of player Liverpool need.
It’s been a while, but we mustn’t forget just how good Paul Pogba was in his heyday, and if Gravenberch can be half as good as the Frenchman was, he could be amazing for Liverpool.
The Reds need a midfielder who can take the game by the scruff of the neck, and it sounds as though Gravenberch can be that man for the Reds.
Whether or not a deal gets done remains to be seen, but this could be an inspired addition to what has become a rather turgid Liverpool midfield.
