Speaking on the Highbury Squad YouTube channel, Kevin Campbell has been discussing Bukayo Saka and his ceiling at Arsenal.
The winger is already one of the very best players in the country. He’s a key player for the league leaders and he’s one of the first names on Gareth Southgate’s teamsheet when the big games come around for England.
Scarily, Campbell states that we’ve barely scratched the surface in terms of what Saka can achieve, with the former Arsenal striker stating that he’s nowhere near the finished article yet, claiming that he will only get better as the years go by.

Saka will only improve
The pundit spoke about Saka and his trajectory.
“He’ such an impressive young man, he’s such an impressive young player. I remember people earlier in the season saying he looks tired. I don’t see it myself. He’s getting better, he’s getting stronger, he’s becoming a match winner for our football club. He’s going from strength to strength,” Campbell said.
“We’ve said it, Saka hasn’t had the luxury, he’s been there to be criticised as well. People don’t realise the pressure on the young man, they just say he looks tired or this or that. He is nowhere near the finished article yet people, If you think he’s good now, wait, because this young man is only going to get better,”
Scary thought
The idea of Saka improving from here is a truly frightening prospect.
As we’ve said, the left-footer is already one of the most impactful players in the country. Imagine if he improves from here, he’d be one of the best we’ve ever seen.
At the age of 21, the sky is the absolute limit for Saka, and when all is said and done, we could genuinely be looking at a Premier League great here.
Saka has all of the ability in the world, and his potential is astronomical.
