Everton will reportedly have to increase their transfer offer if they’re to sign Udinese striker Beto in the summer, with the Toffees having a bid rejected for the attacker in January.
According to Mondo Udinese, the Serie A side are now demanding as much as €35m (£30m) for their star forward ahead of the summer transfer window, with Everton’s initial bid of €25m (£20m) way below what Udinese are looking for if they’re to sell Beto.
The Portuguese ‘titan’ has been heavily linked with a move to Everton in the past few weeks, and current rumours suggest that Sean Dyche is keen to sign Beto as his first transfer as manager of the Merseyside club, with the former Burnley boss failing to bring in a new face in January.
However, a deal for Beto and a new bid will completely depend on if Everton can avoid Premier League relegation, with the Blues currently sat 18th and struggling to hit consistent form despite the obvious improvements Dyche has made in recent weeks.

And for Beto, the striker will likely reject a move to Everton if the Goodison Park side are relegated down to the Championship, which only makes Dyche’s mission of keeping the historic Premier League club up in the division that extra bit important.
Indeed, even a 17th-place finish could be enough for Dyche to kickstart his Everton revolution, and staying up in the Premier League could provide the Toffees with that extra million to make a new bid to bring Beto to England having already failed this year in January.
Everton must bid for Beto the second Premier League survival is confirmed

Many Premier League fans and pundits are confident that Dyche can do the job and keep Everton’s top-flight status intact, and the second such an outcome occurs, the Toffees must launch a bid to sign Beto, who could be an excellent striker for the Goodison Park side.
A towering presence with an impressive goalscoring rate, Beto has the potential to become a superstar on Merseyside with Everton, and the sooner a bid is made in the summer for the Udinese star the better, with the Toffees needing new faces as soon as possible.
