Tottenham Hotspur and Leeds United look set to miss out on the signing of Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adam Traore to Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window, according to 90min.
Tottenham Hotspur and Leeds United-linked Adama Traore in talks with Atlético Madrid
The report has claimed that former La Liga winners Atletico have held talks with Wolves winger Traore over joining them on a free transfer in the summer of 2023.
Leeds and Tottenham are interested in the Spain international winger as well, but a move to La Liga is ‘looking a more likely option at this stage’, according to the report.
Traore, described as “electric” by Arsenal legend Martin Keown on talkSPORT (January 24, 2020). Is out of contract at Wolves at the end of the season.
TEAMtalk reported in January 2023 that Tottenham wanted to sign Traore in January 2022 and were keen on landing him in the 2023 January transfer window.

Leeds Sporting Director Victor Orta personally wanted to bring the winger to Elland Road in the middle of the season, according to the report.
However, Traore is still at Wolves.
And while Leeds and Tottenham may want to make a deal at the end of the season, it seems that the winger could end up at Atletico, who regularly compete for the La Liga title and play in the UEFA Champions League.
