John Aldridge has strongly criticised Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita on Twitter for his performance against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in London in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

The former Liverpool star has said that Keita is “a liability”.

Aldridge wanted Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp to take off the £130,000-a-week (SalarySport) midfielder as soon as he could.

Keita started the match for the Reds.

The midfielder got a yellow card, and Klopp decided to take him off at half time.

Harvey Elliott replaced Keita at the break.

And the youngster did better than Keita.

No future at Anfield

In our view, Naby Keita does not have a future at Liverpool.

The 27-year-old is out of contract at the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners at the end of the season.

We do not think that the Reds will renew the contract of the midfielder.

Yes, Keita has has injury problems during his time at Liverpool, but when he has played, he has not really done much of note.

We think that it would be better for the player himself if he leaves Liverpool at the end of the season and finds a new club where he can start afresh.
