Newcastle United interested in Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund
The report has claimed that Newcastle are keeping tabs on the Denmark international forward.
Head of recruitment Steve Nickson has sent scouts to watch the 20-year-old in action for Atalanta this season, according to the report.
Could a summer transfer happen?
In our view, Newcastle United could be able to sign Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta in the summer transfer window.
This is not the first time that the Magpies have been linked with the forward.
There were reports that Newcastle wanted to sign the Denmark international forward in the summer of 2022.
Hojlund eventually joined Atalanta from Sturm Graz in the summer of 2022 for €17 million (£15 million), as reported by Goal.

However, it seems that Newcastle have maintained their interest in Hojlund.
We believe that if the Premier League club made a big offer to Atalanta for the forward, then they would be able to sign him.
The youngster has done well for Atalanta so far this season.
The 20-year-old has made 11 starts and eight substitute appearances in Serie A.
Hojlund has scored six goals and given one assist in those games.
The forward has also scored one goal in two substitute appearances in the Coppa Italia for Atalanta so far this season.
