West Ham United manager David Moyes has praised Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane on BBC Sport for the way he set up the second goal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League game against the Hammers at the weekend.

Tottenham beat West Ham 2-0 in the London derby on Sunday.

Kane started the match for Spurs.

The England international striker provided the assist for the second Tottenham goal in the Premier League game.

And West Ham boss Moyes was impressed by how Kane set up his Tottenham team-mate Son Heung-min.

Moyes said: “I think in the first half we were a bit open and when you leave it open for Tottenham, they are so good on the counter attack.

“Any scraps like the second goal, Kane gets a scrap, outplays the centre half and plays the pass through to Son for the goal.”

World-class

Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the world who has also developed into a superb playmaker.

The Tottenham Hotspur and England international striker is brilliant in creating chances.

And we saw that against West Ham.

Kane has been quite consistent in his performances this season.

The striker could have scored against West Ham, but he more than played his role in the win for Tottenham with his assist for Son’s goal.

It was a vital win for Spurs, as it keeps them in the hunt for a top-four finish in the Premier League table this season.
