Moise Kean is already facing an uncertain future at crisis-hit giants Juventus after leaving Premier League outfit Everton in an attempt to kick-start his career in Serie A, according to Calciomercato

This season alone feels like a snapshot of Kean’s entire career. A brief feast, giving way to famine. A story of unfulfilled potential.

Kean has scored just six goals in 28 games this term. All but one of those came during a four-week spell before the Qatar World Cup; the proverbial penny seemingly dropping, at the time, for the Italy international back in his Turin home.

That mid-season pause, however, appears to have done Kean no good, checking his momentum. Since club football returned, Kean’s only goal has come in the Coppa Italia. The always expectant Juventus support are starting to take their frustration out on the academy graduate too, coach Max Allegri revealing that Kean is one of a handful of players to be singled out for special attention from the Bianconeri fanbase.

Moise Kean will leave Everton for Juventus

“Certain players enter (the pitch) and are booed,” Allegri grumbles, via NewsItaly24. “It happens with Kean, (Mattia) De Sciglio, sometimes with (Leandro) Paredes.

“They are Juventus players. Instead, there are those who come to the stadium to boo them. I think it is disrespectful to kids who are doing good things in a difficult moment.”

In truth, the phrase ‘difficult moment’ is a bit of an understatement. Juventus were recently docked 15 points. And, in addition to facing a highly uncertain future on and off the pitch, look destined to miss out on a Champions League spot, and the monetary riches that come with.

In an ideal world, Juventus would find a way out of the deal which means they are obliged to pay Everton £25 million to sign Kean permanently at the end of this season. Their best hope, however, may be to sell the one-time PSG loanee to another club in the summer.

Though it seems unlikely suitors will be lining up to buy a striker with six goals in all competitions.
