Jose Enrique has said on Twitter that Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold was “world class” against Sean Dyche’s Everton at Anfield in the Merseyside derby on Monday evening.
Liverpool got the better of Everton 2-0 at home in the Premier League.
Former Liverpool star Enrique was following the match.
And the pundit was hugely impressed 24-year-old Liverpool and England international right-back Alexander-Arnold.
Praise for Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold v Everton

Impressive
In our view, Trent Alexander-Arnold played well for Liverpool against Everton at Anfield in the Merseyside derby on Monday evening.
Jurgen Klopp’s side were the better team over the course of the 90 minutes and deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter.
Alexander-Arnold played his role.
The right-back was very good at the back and marched forward well too.
And the England international’s passing was as good as ever.
Alexander-Arnold was the architect of the goal that Cody Gakpo scored.
The defender made some good tackles and interceptions at the back as well.
It was one of the better performances from the 24-year-old this season.
Now, of course, we know that Everton are having a bad season.
So, it was almost a given that Alexander-Arnold would do well against the Toffees.
It will be interesting to see if the England international right-back is able to maintain this high level of performance in the coming weeks and months.
