Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are competing with Mikel Arteta’ Arsenal and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United for Barcelona forward Ansu Fati, according to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.

The Italian journalist has claimed that Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United all are tracking Fati and want to sign him in the summer transfer window.

Although Barcelona want to keep the £199,000-a-week (SalarySport) 20-year-old Spain international forward, things could change in the second half of the season, according to Romano.

Exciting talent

In our view, Ansu Fatii is a very good and promising young forward, and we are not surprised that Liverpool and Manchester United are interested in the Barcelona youngster.

The 20-year-old has come through the Barcelona youth system and is now an important player in Xavi’s first team.

Yes, Fati is not guaranteed a place in the Barcelona first team, but let us not forget that he is only 20.

And Barca do have a very good and potent attacking unit.

However, there is no doubt that Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United all would benefit with having Fati in their respective teams, especially in the long term.

The 20-year-old, who can operate down the middle or out wide, has made seven starts and 13 substitute appearances in La Liga for Barcelona so far this season.

Fati has scored three goals and provided three assists in those games.

The Spain international has also made two starts and four substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Barca so far this campaign.

Fati played for Spain at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
